Since entering the Affiliated High School, I have participated in many public welfare volunteer activities in my spare time under the guidance of my teachers, staff and other seniors。I still remember that in a community volunteer activity, I worked with other volunteers to clean the community's environmental health, remove small advertisements on the walls, and publicize fire safety knowledge, which were trivial things。However, when I saw that the community environment became clean and tidy, the walls were free of psoriasis, and uncles and aunts promoted the awareness of fire safety, I felt the infinite happiness brought by volunteer service。At school, I also actively participated in various volunteer activities to help classmates and facilitate others, such as placing and sorting bicycles, donating clothes to the mountain area, donating books to the western primary school, and so on。In the voluntary activities again and again, I learned to pay, learn to dedicate, learn to persist。
Some people say that volunteering is "giving roses to others, leaving fragrance in your hands."。Indeed, I have benefited a lot from volunteering。First of all, volunteering improves my personal quality。As a student, we should not only learn knowledge, but also realize the expansion of quality, grow in learning, and become talented in practice。Participating in voluntary activities provides me with an opportunity to contact the society and exercise myself. While passing on love and helping others, I not only gain happiness and growth, but also gradually understand the value and significance of life。
Secondly, it also exercises my time management skills。Volunteering requires time, which conflicts with study time。I fully coordinated the relationship between study and volunteer activities, and tried my best not to delay my study by participating in volunteer activities, nor to give up volunteer service activities because I only cared about learning。
Finally, volunteering has deepened my understanding of Lei Feng's spirit。To participate in voluntary service activities is to inherit and promote the spirit of Lei Feng with practical actions, we must have the heart of universal love of "caring for the old and the old, the young and the young", we must have the spirit of dedication "regardless of any return", and we must have the persistence of "unswerving"。When these become the life creed of each of us, our society will become a harmonious home filled with incense。To this end, I will continue to work hard, in the service of others, service to the community in the voluntary activities continue to emit my light!
