On April 7, 2023, the Student Amateur Party School of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University invited Ma Chengjie, a doctoral student from the School of Marxism of Tsinghua University, to give a special lecture on the topic of the May Fourth Spirit and Tsinghua Youth。More than 30 students from Senior One and senior two amateur Party school students, as well as teachers and students of Tsinghua Affiliated Middle School Project, listened to the lecture online。

In this lecture, Dr. Ma Chengjie gave a detailed explanation and analysis from three parts: "The history and events of the May Fourth Movement", "Tsinghua Students in the May Fourth Movement" and "the spirit of the May Fourth Movement and contemporary Youth"。Combined with the presentation of historical events and the theoretical basis of national leaders in the video, Ma Chengjie led the students to personally experience the connotation of the May 4th Spirit from multiple dimensions。

Ma Chengjie guided the students to interpret the historical background and course of the May Fourth Movement, and discussed the extraordinary influence and far-reaching significance of the May Fourth Movement from three aspects: politics, economy and culture。"Be virtuous and strive for self-improvement" is the motto of Tsinghua University and the motto of every Tsinghua person。Whether listening to the patriotic movement at that time, Wen Yiduo who copied Yue Fei's "Manjiang Hong" overnight, or the waving, boiling "Return my Qingdao" red, in Dr. Ma's story, the students seemed to be immersed in the scene。
