Students' impressions:

Instead of a normal trip, I had the privilege of staying with a local family for a weekend, taking part in German school classes, and learning about the development of the city at the town Hall。These valuable experiences let me have a deeper understanding of the local customs and historical culture of Germany。What's more, I made a lot of friends from different countries: from my exchange partner, to the other students at Salem Palace High School, and even the fans who shouted with me in the stadium。This trip to Germany has made me gain a lot in academic, cultural and interpersonal aspects, which has left a profound mark on my study career。

Some people say that travel is a grand dream。It was as if the song had finished and the performance had ended, as if the fog in Friedrichshafen would finally lift。But a stunning sunset where water and sky merge,Colored specks of light reflected in the window trellis,Mace and sword in the museum,Traces of time in the castle,The faith that always hangs high in the church and the solemn bells,The starry sky at night...Every inch of ground measured with your feet,Capture every view with your eyes,Every taste that lingers on your lips, tongue, and nose -- heart,Will remember it for us,It engrave every moment in eternity,The eaves and the sky and the birds of a foreign land,The lake in the distance, the food and the music,It has penetrated the soul。We're still in this fog, never leaving。

The biggest difference of this exchange is that it provides an in-depth understanding of foreign cultures and lifestyles, whereas previous trips were mostly superficial and focused on places of interest。And the communication with the same age partners, more help each other to break barriers and prejudices, break stereotypes, at the same time to challenge themselves, constantly try new things。This experience has broadened my horizons and made me feel the warmth and kindness of people from the other side of the world。I have once again realized that in this era of constant progress and change, communication is the basis for breaking down barriers, deepening understanding and working together。
