On July 13, 2024, the opening ceremony of the second summer camp of Haidian District Artificial Intelligence Experimental Class was successfully held in Tsinghua University's East and West Campus。Wu Yinghui, President of Haidian District Institute of Education Science, Xu Wenbing, Vice President of Tsinghua High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University, Feng Xuning, leader of the Research and Work Group of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University Vehicle School, Wang Sijia, leader of the student group of the Party Committee of Tsinghua University Vehicle School, Wang Tian, Assistant to the president of Tsinghua High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University, and Tan Hongzheng, director of the Science and Technology Office of Tsinghua High School attended the opening ceremony。The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Tan Hongzheng。

Vice President Xu Wenbing delivered a welcoming speech on behalf of the school。He first expressed his sincere thanks to the support and participation of the Haidian District Institute of Education Science, the Department of Computer Science of Tsinghua University, and the School of Vehicle Science of Tsinghua University, and spoke highly of the students' learning results and efforts in the artificial intelligence experimental class。He sent a message to the students to persevere, innovate, and contribute their own strength to the development of artificial intelligence。

Tsinghua University graduate assistant Professor Zhuang Jiaxin introduced the summer school program。With the theme of intelligent vehicles, this summer camp will carry out a series of challenging and interesting learning and practical activities around open source hardware and cutting-edge technologies of artificial intelligence。Students will have the opportunity to deeply understand the production principle of smart cars, algorithm design, system integration and other aspects of knowledge, and improve their hands-on ability and innovation ability by making smart cars。

Then, President Wu Yinghui concluded her speech, she stressed that the design and manufacturing of intelligent vehicles is a complex system engineering, requiring precision calculation and meticulous regulation。Similarly, training students in artificial intelligence experimental classes also requires scientific methods and systematic planning。She thanked all the teachers and parents who worked hard for the artificial intelligence experimental class, and encouraged the students to cherish the opportunity of this summer camp, study hard and make continuous progress。
